The company offers a bespoke service supplying a complete range of panel products to a wide cross section of customers from some of the most comprehensive stocks held in the UK. The company has built its reputation on supplying customers with almost every type of panel product available on the market today.

We are ideally situated in Halifax, West Yorkshire to serve the North of England. A comprehensive processing service, including cutting, machining, veneering and laminating, is also provided.

Customers' specific requirements are dealt with by efficient and knowledgeable staff; ensuring orders of a complete range of panel products are processed and supplied on time by the company's own dedicated delivery fleet.

Hanson Plywood is conscious of its responsibility in striving to ensure that materials are sourced from properly managed and sustainable forest resources and therefore follows a programme of monitoring and assessing its suppliers. As part of this programme, the company has achieved FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) as well as PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) certification and registration.

As members of the Timber Trade Federation Hanson Plywood is committed to being at the forefront in both environmental practice and technical standards.

As part of their strive towards excellence in customer care Hanson Plywood's quality control systems are ISO 9001:2008 certified.

  • Certified -

    This product is optionally available with certification of responsibly sourced material. Hanson Plywood Ltd is FSC and PEFC certified.

  • Fire -

    This product conforms to a fire test rating, commonly European Class B or C, which is a crucial safety requirement of public buildings. (See Appendix)

  • Structural -

    Certain panels can be used as a load bearing material on condition that they conform to strict standards expected of structural panels.

  • Interior/Exterior -

    Indicates whether panels are suitable for indoor use only or can also be used outdoors. This is dependent on the species of wood used, the construction of the panel the glue type used and the treatment of the panel.
